Congratulations, You're Having a Baby!
With each new birth comes new experiences and new beginnings. I recognize that each birth is different and whether it this is your first or your tenth the occasion of birth deserves to be celebrated and nurtured.
About Me
I feel honoroed that you are are here, so let me intrdouce myself.
My name is Aracely Rodriguez. I am honored to serve the Inland Empire birthing community. My three amazing children; Carlos 17, Oscar 14, and my beautiful little girl Emmery, who would be 10, gave me the gift of Motherhood. Emmery only lived 34 short but beautiful hours and taught me so much. Because of my journey through her pregnancy, her birth and short time with us on earth, I learned to advocate for myself, speak up and just how strong as women we really are. I am passionate about birth because of her.
My Qualifications

I am also a certified Infant message Instructor (CIMI) and received my training through International Association of Infant Message (IAIM) a well recognized worldwide organization.

Bengkung Postpartem Belly Binding:
I am trained in the traditional style of Bengkung belly binding by Sacred Pregnancy and offer postpartum belly binging as a standalone service, an add on, or as part of my “Beyond Nurtured package”.
What is Bengkung ?
Bengkung is a traditional Malaysian belly binding method. Essentially it is a practice of tying a long strip of cloth normally muslin which often comes in beautiful colors achieved by a process referred to as batik fabric dyeing, which is what I use. The long fabric is tied and noted around the abdomen during the postpartum recovery period to ensure a strong support to our womb after childbirth. It has been practiced for hundreds of years and has been found to have great benefits.
Why belly-binding ?
-
It helps to slim the ribcage, belly and hips.
-
Pulls in the separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) back together.
-
Prevents back pain. While wearing it, you are reminded to sit and walk straight, a good antidote to the “nursing-slouch”.
-
Decreases postpartum bleeding time by speeding up the process of getting rid of waste blood in a natural way.
-
It’s an ancient traditional natural way of healing after birth.
-
It feels good!
The Belly bind is most effective and best used during the first 8 weeks postpartum starting on the 5th day after a vaginal delivery and at the 6th week after a cesarean or once your incision is healed, but can be useful for support during anytime of the postpartum period.
What will you get with this service?
Upon delivery I will visit you postpartum to bind you with the batik wrap I provide for you and teach you how to bind and wrap yourself. I am available if you forget or need a little reminder. I offer this service by itself; you can add it on, or as part of my "Beyound Nurtured Package".
